„DIE FLEDERMAUS“ AT WILDON CASTLE

Start of the second season of new Johann Strauss operetta productions – January 2020

 

In an operetta cycle the Johann Strauss Society of Vienna staged all original operettas of Johann Strauss between 2001 and 2013. At the beginning of the 2020ies the Society started a new production series of the waltz king’s stage works. The premiere of „ Die Fledermaus“ took place at Wildon Castle (Styria) on 3rd January 2020. The performance with the Classical Operetta Ensemble was enthusiastically received. It was a tremendous success.
